Next FiFe shows

We will continue on shows next year 2025. December show in Olomouc was this year our last.

to think about...

I can't help but write something about exhibitions. Not every breeder who breeds animals goes to exhibitions. Some can't because they have small children or a lot of work obligations. But it is right to show your breeding animals to judges and the public. So that we know that we are going the right way. It is right to test animals for genetic diseases, and to breed them, not to multiply them. A kennel has appeared in my area, which has been breeding for three years. They have never been to a show, they do not test their animals and currently have their 17th litter!

Is that right? Can they take care of the kittens so that they are properly socialized? And what about testing? The answer is up to you. Not all animals that have a pedigree are a guarantee of a quality animal. I don't understand that there is no control of breeds as it was in the past.

The Story of Luxury Paws *SK

In the Beginning

It was 1996 and I was diagnosed with many allergies including a very strong cats allergy. Therefore I avoided cats for many upcoming years. Then in 1997 I got my first dog a pekingese. It was an amazing female who spent a wonderful 14 years with my family. Later on in 2006 and 2009 two pugs came to our lives. A cream pug Andy and a black pug Bella. We were young when we bought them and we thought that animals from kennels of a reputable breeders were a luxury unnecessity. That prove to be a very wrong and costly decision as our dogs were constantly ill and we spent thousands on vet bills. Later on we were smarter and bought our two younger dogs from a reputable breeders and had no more health issues. Finally, we fell in love with dogs show and we are proud to say that our German Boxer is a Slovak champion. Then I decided to give cats a try despite my allergies as my lovely auntie used to own a cat who was always very friendly and a definition of a lap cat so I started searching for a hypoallergenic cats breeds and finally I discovered a Devon Rex. I did a proper research, contacted breeders, convinced my husband to give it a shot and there she was. The newest member of our furry family - Delarosa named after my beloved auntie Rosa.
